lovely candles

Don’t you just feel like lighting candles when you are so tired and weary? You turn on the radio, put in a mellow music station. Mellow music in the background and lights are out except for the mood candles…

May we all have a mellow good week ;)

Importance of education

If there is one thing I am known for, it’s for the importance I give to education. No matter what course or field of expertise you want to follow, basic and in-depth knowledge of it as well as practical training are very important. I’m very big on getting the education on campus, from experts on the field.

Like the Regency Jacksonville Cosmetology School. If you are aspiring to enter the field of beauty, then go to Regency. They’ve been offering their very own unique approach to teaching. Students are not confined to the classroom learning about theories. They get to try it out, experience work first-hand, while on campus.

Interesting way of learning beauty, right? Go to www.RegencyBeauty.com for more information.

Charlie, my love ♥

Letters to Juliet is now one of my favorite movies of all time! I just love the story, the song, the characters. And I love the guy! I am talking about Christopher Egan who portrayed the role of Charlie in the movie. Don’t you just think he’s a cross between Heath Ledger and Matt Damon?

Christopher Egan

He is sooo good-looking and the guy squints beautifully! Like he’s looking for you all the time and when he focuses on you, it’s like you’re the only one he can see. I am basing this on the movie, of course. He-he-he!

Christopher Egan

Hot guy! Sooo sexy!

In a relationship

Posted June 18, 2010 | Comments Off

loveI was browsing Facebook a few minutes ago when I saw that a classmate back in high school changed his status from “single” to “in a relationship”. I would not have minded it if I didn’t see who he is having a relationship with. It’s someone from our batch! I don’t know it just felt so weird! I just thought that do you really get into a relationship with the laughingstock? Do you actually want for others to gossip about you in a reunion or gatherings?

You get into a relationship with the adorable class clown, or with the popular guys, or the quiet ones with a lot of friends.

When I think about it, I actually admire the girl. Imagine declaring to the whole batch that you are in love with the man who was (and still is) being called a horse. Wow! You went past that and focused on what the man really is all about.

I am probably still after appearance; or that after being one of the “bullies” in school, I am still scared of being bullied now. I am scared of being laughed at or gossiped about. I am scared of “tarnishing” my reputation!

Honestly, I laughed when I first read about the change of status. But now, while writing this entry, I actually am happy for them. He was married the last time we saw each other during a small gathering with other high school classmates. I don’t know why he was suddenly single and then now in a relationship with someone from the batch.

Going out with friends and love ones makes me happy. I am content chatting with them over a good meal. Or even at a great place. But there are times when I feel like going out with someone that interests me. Someone who challenges me. Someone with whom I am not friends or related to.

Those are just off days. Then I realize that love is a fleeting thing.
