Blatant abuse

I hate it when my kindness is being blatantly abused. Too many favors asked, ridiculous requests, unreasonable demands…

Someone is demanding things I do for her. Post on her FB wall something (that I know will make her boyfriend who’s living abroad jealous). Search about a certain term related to football (because her boyfriend would be thrilled to know she supposedly knows a lot about the game). Asking me to find out the meaning of a word her boyfriend mentioned in their recent conversation. Or asking me if her grammar is correct, or the phrase she knows is the right words she ought to tell her boyfriend.

It’s irritating the hell out of me!

Of course, I don’t do some of the things she asks of me. But sometimes, my kindness (or stupidity?) kicks in and I would give in.
