It's normal to be afraid for your brother's safety. Just be sure to give him some time to be independent and find out who he is. Great communication is important too. My mom was very strict and I led a pretty sheltered life. This led me to lie a lot to my Mom about where I was because I knew she wouldn't allow me out of the house otherwise.
