Random Tuesday Thoughts: Friendship thrown away

It’s always up to you on how you’re going to run your life…
run it for good or ruin it that bad.
Yes, people will care and try to shift you back to the right track.
But at the end of the day, it’s still your choice that matters…

Choose what you love.
Then love your choice.

I was suddenly reminded of a man who chose to become a drug addict, double-crossing his close friends. When I saw him, he couldn’t look me in the eye. We were really close. He was even welcome at home even late at night when we were still in high school. My mom allowed him because he was a good kid…

Who chose to throw away more than a decade of friendship over five hundred bucks.

It was one of the saddest days of my life. When I found out what he did. If he just asked for forgiveness after a while, I would have taken it. He was like an older brother. But he made his choice and we both have to live with it.

Oh well…

Happy Tuesday!

yeah, it’s quite wasted to lose a friend like this, especially if it’s over trivial matters. I’ve lost some friends through almost similar reasons as well. If they don’t treasure the friendship, so be it. No point forcing them…

there will always be new good friends coming along, stay happy!

I had a friend who did something similar, but we ended up working through it. Took about another decade, but we did it.

In life you chose what path to take. You can take the correct one or just take the wrong one. But you can chose to correct your path at anytime.

It’s terrible the carnage addicts can leave behind them. I hope he eventually finds the right path.

    Addiction is a harsh mistress.

Be sure to leave one door available he can come knocking on in the future when he’s sober, ok?

This is why I stick to legal drugs, like alcohol and caffeine.

    Happy RTT!

That’s really sad how some people can get so lost in their addiction. I love the quote you started the post with. You are absolutely right about choices. In the end, it’s our choices that make the difference.
