Friday Frustrations: Inability to Focus

My frustration today is closely tied to the limited space I have here at home.

I work at home. My dad rearranged the living room to create a small corner for me. I come from a large family-my dad and 4 siblings plus a little kid. And we all love to converge on the living room, watching tv or horsing around.

I love my small corner. But can you imagine when all of us are in the living room? Concentration goes out the window! I have to go find another spot somewhere in the house but I doubt if I can find one that will be as comfy as the one I have right now. Our house is a small house and we really have to make do with what limited space we have. Sigh.

To illustrate my inability to focus… I’ve been writing this entry for the past four hours now :(
Oh well, I will find a way somehow.

    I’m feeling your pain. I use to have my office in my living room. It was like an open door for anyone to come in and sit down and talk while I was working. Like I was there for fun.

    I can totally relate. I grew up with 5 siblings and studying was impossible. There was not one room in the house that was quiet. Even my bedroom was crowded where I slept with my 3 other sisters.

    4 hours for the post. Now that’s lack of concentration. Have a great week-end.
